PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mr. Batterman is the principal founding organizer of Vigil Trust & Financial Advocacy and has served as its President and In-house Counsel since 1988. He is the firm's Senior Financial Advocate, with primary responsibility for account administrative and investment issues for its largest clients.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Employed in the financial advocacy and trust industry in Wausau since 1985 following several years in the private practice of law in the Wausau area.
• One of the founding organizers of the Association of Independent Trust Companies, a trade association for independent corporate trustees across the United States.
• Member of the Marathon County Bar Association, the Wausau Estate Planners Council and the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as the National Association of Personal Financial Advisers, a national association dedicated to advancement of the Fee-Only financial advisory profession.
• Frequent speaker and writer on estate planning, investment and trust-related topics.

EDUCATION:

• A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School.
• In 1992 he was awarded certification by the Institute of Certified Bankers as one of only a few Certified Trust and Financial Advisers in the Central Wisconsin area.
• Successfully passed Series 7 (General Securities Agent) and Series 24 (General Securities Principal) examinations.
